Bitcoin mining networks don’t require high-speed networking equipment, but they do need something that is reliable – both for the internal LAN between devices, and for the WAN for external remote operation.
“Since Bitcoin mining often takes place in remote locations without access to fiber optic connections, many of these networks use LHG and LHG LTE kits,” our friends at SPX explained to us. Since 2018, they have been installing LHG’s and CRS switches in data centers in shipping containers. Recently, they also added the versatile RB5009 router to their setup.
