The MT7615 is a highly integrated WLAN single board that supports a PHY rate of 1733 Mbps.
Fully compatible with IEEE 802.11ac and IEEE802.11 a/b/n standards, it provides a feature-rich wireless connection at high standards and delivers reliable, cost-effective throughput from and over longer distances.
Optimized RF architecture and baseband algorithms provide excellent performance and low power consumption. The intelligent MAC design utilizes a highly efficient offload engine and hardware data processing accelerators that completely offload the WLAN tasks from the host processor.

The BPI-MT7615 is designed to support standards-based functions in the areas of the host processor and in the areas of quality of service and international regulations.
This gives the end user the highest performance at all times and under all circumstances. It also supports simultaneous dual-band operation in the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands (DBDC, Dual-Band Dual-Concurrent0).
This enables diversified applications that require one connection in the 2.4 GHz band and the other in the less crowded 5 GHz band at the same time. In addition, the MT7615 supports MU-MIMO with different configurations.
As an AP, it would be able to use its antenna beams to transmit several frames simultaneously to different clients via the same frequency spectrum.
Supported operating systems:
- Linux
- OpenWRT
- Android
- Supports 4×4 4SS 11ac Wave2 MU-MIMO and 160 MHz channels
- Mu-MIMO configurations of: 4x users: 4x 1 SS/ 3x users: 2x 1 SS + 1x 2 SS or 3x 1 SS/ 2x users: 2x 2 SS or 1x 1 SS + 1x 2 SS or 2x 1 SS
- Supports 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, 80+80 and 160 MHz channels
- Embedded ARM Cortex R4 processor for full relief of the host CPU
- Embedded 32-bit RISC microprocessor
