We want to lead by example, also in the context of the new regulations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Ecology is a central concern for us.
Already since 2011, we have committed ourselves to colleting and disposing of waste electrical equipment that end-users have purchased from us - at no charge. Since last year, this also applies to third-party devices. For this purpose, we provide a take-back system together with take-e-way GmbH. That means nationwide and near you.
You can find more information here: www.take-e-back.de
Important Information for End-Users and Private Households:
All electrical devices that can be used in private households are marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. This symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment is to be collected separately from unsorted municipal solid waste. Waste equipment may not be disposed with household waste.
End-users have the option to return their waste electrical and electronic equipment to our collection points. You can find an overview of all WEEE collection points at www.take-e-back.de.
Waste batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the device are to be separated from the device before returning it to a collection point.
You are responsible for deleting personal data from the device you want to dispose of.
For private households it is also possible to return waste equipment to municipal collection points.
