ALFA APS084 – Desktop Ethernet Switch, 8-Port 10/100 Mbps with 4-Port PoE

The APS084 8-port 10/100M with 4-port PoE switch meets the demand of high power PoE network appliances seamlessly with a fast Ethernet connection. With up to 60 W power output, the APS084 feeds max. 15.4 W per port to PoE-enabled devices via standard Cat. 5E / Cat. 6 cable. With power and data over Ethernet from one device, the APS084 not only simplifies cabling tasks, but also extends remote power supply to PoE PD devices (IP cameras, wireless APs, or IP phones) at max. 100 meter distance.

The APS084 is environmental-friendly supporting latest energy-saving technologies like Energy-Efficient Ethernet mode (EEE; defined in IEEE 802.3az) to reduce the networking system power consumption. NO configuration is needed, APS084 negotiates and determines the required power output for connected cable lengths/devices.
