Portenta Hat Carrier is a reliable and robust carrier that transforms Portenta X8 into an industrial single board computer compatible with Raspberry Pi® Hats and cameras. The Portenta Hat Carrier is suitable for numerous industrial applications such as building automation and machine monitoring.
Also compatible with Portenta H7 and Portenta C33, the Portenta Hat Carrier provides easy access to multiple peripherals – including CAN, Ethernet, microSD and USB – and expands any Portenta application.
It’s great for prototyping and ready for scaling up, extending the capabilities of a typical Raspberry Pi® Model B. Fast debugging with dedicated JTAG pins and manageable heat generation under heavy workloads with a PWM fan connector. Control actuators or read analogue sensors via the additional 16x analogue I/Os. Add machine vision solutions to any project by utilising the onboard camera connection.
