This serial adapter by Delock can be plugged into the D-Sub9 pin connector of the device or system and used as a port saver. This protects the actual D-Sub9 interface in applications with high mating cycles. Furthermore, the adapter can be used as a mechanical extension of the D-Sub 9 port for special applications.
