This Y adapter by Delock is used to double a permanently installed network cable. This allows a single cable to be used for a simultaneous 10/100 Ethernet connection and an ISDN connection.
You will need two adapters, which are connected to the network socket and the patch panel on both sides of the cable. Two sockets are then available instead of one socket.

Note
The adapter cannot be used individually; a second adapter or a correspondingly occupied patch panel with 2 ports is always required.
