BNC connectors are used particularly in the radio and video sector. The bayonet lock holds the connector firmly in place, even under high tensile stress.
Unlike BNC connectors, TNC connectors are not connected using a bayonet, but are screwed together using a thread. As with BNC, however, the application is in the radio and video sector.
F connectors are most commonly found in the satellite television sector, but are also used in the cable television sector.
