This reverse breakout cable from Delock can be used to connect various SAS devices internally, e.g. an HDD backplane with Mini SAS HD connector to a controller with 4 SATA connectors. The metal clips on the SATA connectors allow them to snap into place when connected.

Note

  • It is not possible to use SAS HDDs with a SATA controller
  • To connect a SAS controller with SFF-8643 to 4 SATA hard disks, use the Delock article 83393 (Forward Breakout) instead
