This SATA cable by Delock complies with the latest standard and has a data transfer rate of up to 6 Gb/s. It is used to extend a SATA interface and can be used to connect various devices with a 7-pin SATA port. The SATA 6 Gb/s interface is also downwards compatible with the previous SATA versions, whereby only the respective transfer rate can be achieved here. Additional locking when connecting the cable is made possible by the metal clip on the socket and the metal clip holder on the plug.
