This docking station by Delock can be connected to a MacBook Pro with two adjacent Thunderbolt™ 4 ports. A Thunderbolt device can be connected to the Thunderbolt™ 4 port (pass-through). Two integrated USB Type-A ports enable the use of peripheral devices. Connections for a headset and Gigabit network complete the equipment.
All Thunderbolt™ devices, such as docking stations, SSDs or monitors, can still be connected to the forwarded Thunderbolt™ 4 port. Thunderbolt™ also supports DP Alternate Mode, so HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI monitors can be connected with the appropriate adapters. This connection can also be used to charge the MacBook, as the Power Delivery function (USB PD 3.0) is also supported with up to 100 watts.
The docking station is specially designed with a cut-out where the MagSafe charging port is located on the MacBook. This means that the MagSafe power supply can still be used even if the Delock docking station is used on the MacBook.
Due to its small dimensions and sturdy housing, this Delock docking station is particularly suitable for travelling. It can simply be packed in your bag together with your notebook and used when needed.
