With this adapter, you can power your Raspberry Pi and other single-board computers that are powered by a microUSB port via PoE LAN. The adapter is connected directly to a PoE-enabled router/switch or PoE injector with a POE LAN cable (cable length up to 100 m). This allows you to use the Raspberry very flexibly while a power outlet or power supply is not needed.
