Directional DVB-T antenna for terrestrial television reception, enabling MUX 8 reception.
The MCTV-855 professional directional antenna is equipped with an LTE filter that eliminates interference from mobile networks providing high-speed Internet services in the 800 MHz band.
In recent years, several thousand stations supporting the LTE standard in the 800 MHz band have been installed in Poland. The end of the TV band is in the immediate vicinity of the LTE 800 MHz band. This can cause interference when receiving digital terrestrial television. The picture may freeze on the TV screen and coloured stripes and squares may appear.
The MCTV-855 antenna suppresses unwanted signals above 790 MHz thanks to the use of an LTE filter and is therefore resistant to the interference from the LTE network described above.
The antenna is equipped with an additional dipole that enables reception of FM channels, allowing reception of the 170-230 MHz band, which enables reception of MUX 8, which broadcasts new programmes and DAB+ digital radio.
