Introduction
The main advantage of PoE is that data and power can be transmitted to Ethernet-enabled devices via a standard Ethernet CAT5 cable. Moxa’s SPL-24 PoE splitters take on the role of Powered Devices (PDs) and split the power from the injector to the Ethernet devices. When using Moxa devices, power and data can be transmitted up to 100 metres away from the power source (PSE).

The standard model can be operated at temperatures from 0 to 60°C, while the model for wide temperature ranges can be operated at temperatures from -40 to 75°C. In addition, the robust hardware ensures that these devices work reliably even in demanding industrial applications.
