Poynting A-UDAS-0001-V1-01 Ultra-wideband, cross-polarised antenna 600 – 6000 MHz

The UDAS is a unique device designed to improve the router signal in a closed environment. The antenna is placed between an indoor router and an outdoor antenna. The purpose of the antenna is to direct a small portion of the transmitted or received signal into the area where the device is installed. This allows indoor users to receive an improved signal while most of the power is radiated from the outdoor antenna.

The device operates in the broadband range of 698 – 6000 MHz, covering the popular 5G/LTE bands as well as the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for Wi-Fi applications. The UDAS has an omnidirectional radiation pattern, which ensures that the entire room or enclosed area is covered. The UDAS also offers 2×2 MIMO, where the antenna elements are cross-polarised within the housing, as this contributes to diversity and delivers better performance. The UDAS housing is made of ABS with UV stabiliser, a highly impact-resistant plastic that is also resistant to acids and other chemicals.
