The OMNI-85 is the third generation “V3” of Poynting’s very popular router/device mount antenna. The OMNI-85 is a broadband omni directional antenna that covers all current 4G/LTE and future 5G frequency bands. The broadband performance of the antenna allows it to operate from 617 to 3800 MHz with a peak gain of 3.5 dBi across the operating bands. This makes the antenna usable in all parts of the world and is backward compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G technologies. The antenna is independent of the ground plane and can be connected directly to any device with an SMA socket. The antenna’s knuckle foot allows for multiple set-up angles to match the orientation of the device.
