The new option sets up an audio/video signal input via a USB 2.0 adapter that digitises the analogue video input signals.

Installations of video surveillance systems are increasing due to the low acquisition costs and the possibility of reusing existing cable lines. The maintenance and installation of these devices is usually carried out by professional telecommunications technicians. For this reason, this option focuses particularly on monitoring and checking the correct functioning of analogue surveillance cameras.

To implement this solution, the measuring devices have a new software option and a converter for video display via USB with audio, video and CVBS input sockets. They also include a USB 2.0 to mini USB adapter to connect the converter to the input interface of the meter.

Highlights
– Camera mode: It is necessary to enter the camera mode of the meter menu to start the display.
– Protective cover: The protective cover has been redesigned to use the adapter. With this new design, it is also possible to always connect the adapter to the mini-USB input interface. Thanks to this implementation, a technician only needs to connect the video/audio input to the camera and activate the camera mode in the menu.
