The optical media converter enables the expansion of data transmission via single-mode (SM) fibres. The transceiver receives 10/100/1000Base-TX signals via an RJ45 connector, converts these signals and transmits them over a 1000Base-FX fibre optic link using single-mode fibre patch cables with SC/UPC connectors.
It is designed for highly reliable performance and is the ideal option for covering long distances in point-to-point data transmission (up to 10 km).
The wavelength used by this device for transmission is 1310 nm, while a wavelength of 1550 nm is used for reception. For correct operation, it is necessary to use this device together with the media converter with the reference 769217.
