The tacho cable consists of a twisted pair for the CAN connection and two additional connectors dedicated to a simple connection to the tachograph.

The cable can be used on FM6300, FMB630 and FMB640 trackers.

The tacho cable makes connection simple in the following cases:

  • Remote download of tachograph files – makes it possible to download files remotely
  • FMS CAN J1939 – reads CAN data from heavy vehicles according to the FMS J1939 standard
  • Reading the current values from the tachograph (Kline) – reading the live values from the tachograph
