The TL-FC1420 14-slot rackmount enclosure is specially designed to accommodate 14 TP-Link media converters for centralised power supply, saving space and power cables. As continuous operation is of great importance for fibre optic communication, the enclosure is equipped with an optional redundant power supply and a hot-swapping function that allows the converter to be installed/removed without switching off the enclosure. To stabilise performance and extend service life, two fans are also installed in the housing.
