The TL-SM321B-2 from TP-LINK is designed in accordance with the Small Form Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (SFP-MSA). As a bidirectional optical WDM transceiver, the TL-SM321B-2 uses an integrated bidirectional optical LC interface connector and the data link is up to 2km in 9/125µm SMF (Single-Mode Fibre).
The TL-SM321B-2 also features the Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) function, which is compatible with SFF-8472. DDM supports real-time monitoring of the transceiver and displays parameters such as transceiver current, optical transmit/receive power and operating temperature.
The TL-SM321B-2 from TP-Link is used in practice for short and medium-haul fibre optic networks and provides fast and stable Gigabit fibre optic connections for switches, routers, servers, etc.
