OPNsense Ready System – APU2E5, 4 GB RAM, 16 GB mSATA SSD module, silver

The OPNsense software is based on FreeBSD(R) and is designed to be used as a firewall and router. It includes almost all the functions of expensive commercial firewalls, and in most cases even more. The following functions are provided (excerpt):

The OPNsense software runs on a power-saving APU2E5 system and has a maximum power consumption of 10 watts, which has a minimal impact on the environment. The system is fanless, passively cooled and extremely small (6 x 6″).

APU2E update: The size of the battery socket has been changed to avoid contact problems. Added signal integrity resistor for core voltage control signal.
