The Fibaro door and window sensor is a battery-operated, Z-Wave compatible contact sensor. It combines two devices in one easy-to-use product (reed and temperature sensor). The sensor can be used to monitor the status (open / closed) of doors, windows, window blinds or garage doors, etc. In addition, the integrated temperature sensor measures the temperature at the installation site and reports the value to the Z-Wave central unit.

The product consists of two elements, a part of which is attached to the moving part of the window or door. The other part is fixed on the frame. The sensor must be included in the Z-Wave network using a remote control or another Z-Wave controller. If an action is detected by the sensor, it sends a signal to the Z-Wave main control.
