The Banana Pi BPI-R64 is an open source router that is compatible with a wide range of open source operating systems (including OpenWrt, Linux). It provides 4x Gigabit LAN ports and one Gigabit WAN port. It also features AP functionality and a 64-bit chip design. With the integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, it is possible to use the Banana Pi as router/repeater, home automation gateway, wireless audio and external wireless hard drive. Overall, the BPI-R64 is a high performance device with a wide range of functionalities and a high cost-benefit efficiency.
