This USB type-A to serial RS-232 adapter from Delock provides a compatible RS-232 DB9 port for printers, meters, controllers, IoT devices etc.

Galvanic isolation
The USB 2.0 to serial RS-232 adapter completely decouples the USB and RS-232 ports and the USB power supply. This ensures continuous data transmission at different earth potentials, separates occurring ground and hum loops and prevents interruptions due to electromagnetic discharges or surges.
Ferrite cores
Two ferrite cores on the USB 2.0 cable filter high-frequency interference signals.
