What's new with Raspberry Pi 4?
- The Raspberry Pi 4 has received a performance boost to 1.5 GHz with an updated quad-core processor.
- There is now a choice of memory sizes: 4 GB and 8 GB to run more complex processes efficiently.
- Two micro HDMI ports allow for dual screen setup - previous versions have a standard HDMI port.
- Video encoding up to 4K and 4K. Video decoding with up to 4K resolution.
- 2x USB 3.0 ports faster connectivity with other peripherals - earlier models have 4 USB 2.0 ports.
- Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi - an improvement over the previous Bluetooth 4.2 on the Pi 3 B+
- True Gigabit Ethernet as the Pi 4 is not limited by the USB 2.0 bridge
- Power is supplied via USB-C - Raspberry Pi 3 was supplied with 5.1 V via Micro-USB
