This steel
wall-mounted fiber-optic box with 2 divided sections (each has its own lock
with unique key) is intended for the termination and connection of fiber-optic
cables in data and telecommunication applications.

The larger
section is designed for incoming and outgoing cables and inside there is a
holder for splice cassettes for welding of fiber-optic cables. The cables are
coming into this section via the body casing and are sealed by grommets. The
smaller section is designed for the connection of fiber-optic cables using
patch-cords and adapters. The adapters are installed on the middle dividing
panel.

Because the
type of connectors is usually not known in advance, 3 panels for the most used
connectors (24x ST, 24x SC and 16x SC-Duplex) are part of the box. Both sections
are sealed against dust by PUR sealing around the door and the special
construction of the frame. The smaller section can be used as a lead-though
(the connecting cables lead out through the slot under the door and lead to the
next device) or completely closed and then dust-proof as well. This depends on
the used modules; material for both versions is included in the delivery.
