The UniFi Protect Smart Sensor is a battery-operated smart multi-sensor that detects motion and environmental conditions.

The Sensor transmits sensory data and alerts over Bluetooth to the UniFi Protect ecosystem.

Note: One of the following UniFi6 access points is required to adopt and operate the smart sensor:

• UniFi6 Long-Range (U6 LR) - Only GA models updated to Version 5.60.23 and later
• UniFi6 Lite (U6 Lite) - Only GA models updated to Version 5.60.23 and later
• UniFi6 Pro (U6 Pro) - Only GA models updated to Version 6.0.4 and later
