Product Description
Description

This USB charger by Delock can be used to supply a USB device with power. The port is equipped with USB Type-Câ„¢ Power Delivery (PD 3.1), allowing supported devices to be charged with up to 140 watts.

USB-PD Version 3.1

The USB PD 3.1 specification defines the voltage levels 28, 36 and 48 volts with support for Extended Power Range (EPR) with 5 amps each. With a calculated maximum power of 240 W (48 V / 5 A), other device classes can also be supplied with power in addition to powerful notebooks and desktop PCs. The Delock charger is characterised by an output power of 28 V and 5 A.

GaN technology

The use of GaN (gallium nitride) transistors increases the efficiency compared to conventional silicon technology. This means that a high output power can be achieved even with very compact dimensions.

Note

For EPR mode (28, 36, 48 V / 5 A), a USB cable with a corresponding E-marker is mandatory. If this E-marker is not available, max. 3 A are transmitted.
Corresponding cables from Delock are optionally available.
