42025 - USB 40 Gbps housing for 1 x M.2 NVMe SSD in gaming style with LED and ventilation

This enclosure by Delock enables the installation of a M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in 2280 format and can be connected to a PC or notebook with Thunderboltâ„¢ 3, Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 or USB-Câ„¢ interface.

USB 40 Gbps
Due to the compatibility of USB 40 Gbps, the Delock enclosure can be connected to Thunderboltâ„¢ 3 and 4 ports, as well as to all USB Type-Câ„¢ ports. The maximum data transfer rate depends on the host device.

LED lighting
In addition to the power LED, there is an LED light bar on the side. This lights up in pulsating blue light when the enclosure is connected to a USB interface and in coloured light when connected to a Thunderboltâ„¢ interface.

SSD installation without tools
The special feature of this enclosure is thatnotools are required to install the M.2 SSD does not require any tools.

Active cooling via fan
A quiet fan in the lower section of the enclosure ensures sufficient cooling of the SSDs used, so that operation works without any problems even when the enclosure is closed. The fan can be switched on and off.

Note
Due to the USB to NVMe controller, the data transfer rate on a USB Gen 2x2 connection is only 10 Gbps.
