AUTOPILOT - The smart OEM gateway
The Aeotec AutoPilot was developed as an OEM product and is designed exclusively for use in project business. Its flexible customisability allows installers on site and remotely to constantly adapt the system to growing requirements.

Full control everywhere
Combined with intelligent devices, the AutoPilot is used to automate and control buildings. It can be used to manage both small rooms and large buildings. Intelligent automations known as "AutoPilots" offer you and your customers further options for customising our solution to your own requirements. These focus primarily on the following four core areas: Rooms & Environment, Wellbeing, Protection & Notification and Security & Information.

Modular, intuitive and scalable
- Thanks to its various functions, the AutoPilot can be easily integrated into any environment. The modular architecture allows features to be customised, extended or developed from scratch as required.
- Designed for MDUs and remote installations, AutoPilot Clustering enables remote and automated management of multiple installations from a single user interface.
- If the cloud goes down, automation should not be interrupted. To avoid downtime and data leaks, AutoPilot processes automations and user data locally and without the cloud.
- AutoPilot can be controlled and managed via the in-house web app, smartphone apps and voice control. Access permissions can be tailored to individual users.
- AutoPilot servers can deliver notifications to smart devices, email and SMS alerts and push notifications via API, whether they are directed to an end user, a system supervisor or their administrator.
- From when and why something happened to the usage of entire rooms and individual electronic devices, AutoPilot provides granular and configurable reporting suites and auditable logs.
- Natively connected devices can be fine-tuned on site or remotely with AutoPilot, with all configuration settings and parameters available to the manager of an installation.

Centrally networked or can be used "locally"
- AutoPilot Apart & Aeotec ID: As the central interface to all AutoPilot installations, any user or installer can manage all linked systems quickly and easily with the help of "AutoPilot Apart". To use this service, an Aeotec ID account is required. In addition, the AutoPilots must be linked to this account.
- Local installation: The AutoPilot can also be operated "locally" without an Aeotec ID account and the AutoPilot Apart service. An Internet connection is required to receive continuous updates and use some services.
AutoPilot uses the following components, which have been supported for a long time and are already used in thousands of systems:
- Orange Pi Zero H3 - QuadCore Cortex A7 / 512MB DDR3
- Aeotec Z-OPI 7 (A customised variant of the Z-PI7 Z-Wave GPIO controller)

The AutoPilot stack can also be used on other architectures to offer the stack as a SAAS solution. A corresponding evaluation can be carried out together with A.I.Pilot GmbH. We will also make the necessary adjustments to ensure compatibility and smooth operation with the required hardware.
