As a connection unit or termination unit for a fibre optic network authorised device. The patch box is used in communication infrastructures as a transfer and test point for the fibre optic network. Thanks to its internal structure, it can accommodate optical cables (used as a patchbox) and an optical distributor with 2 or 4 outputs (used as a distribution box). It can be attached using screws (for mounting on the wall or in the connection box) or using DIN rails.
