Product Description
OPNsense Ready System - APU2E4, 4 GB RAM, 16 GB mSATA SSD Module, blue
The OPNsense software is based on FreeBSD(R), tailored for use as a firewall and router. It includes almost all the features of expensive commercial firewalls, and more in many cases. Here some supported features:
- Firewall
- State table
- NAT
- Redundancy
- Outbound and inbound load balancing
- VPN - IPsec, OpenVPN, PPTP
- PPPoE server
- RRD graphs reporting
- Real time information - using AJAX
- Dynamic DNS
- Captive portal
- DHCP server and relay
- Live CD version available
The OPNsense software is running on an energy-saving APU2E4 system, so the power input averages 10 watt at maximum. The system is fanless, passively cooled and extremely small.
- Update APU2E: Changed battery socket footprint to avoid contact problems. Added signal integrity resistor for core voltage control signal.
