Die EDS-405A-Serie wurde speziell für industrielle Anwendungen entwickelt. Die Switches unterstützen eine Vielzahl nützlicher Managementfunktionen wie Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, Ringkopplung, IGMP Snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, Port-basiertes VLAN, QoS, RMON, Bandbreitenmanagement, Port Mirroring und Warnung per E-Mail oder Relay. Der einsatzbereite Turbo Ring kann einfach über die webbasierte Verwaltungsoberfläche oder über die DIP-Schalter auf der Oberseite der EDS-405A-Switches eingerichtet werden.
