The Aeotec Z-Pi 7 was developed in Germany and allows you to adapt existing hardware for Z-Wave. The Z-PI7 transforms any Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi into a Z-Wave 700 series smart home gateway. The Z-Pi 7 is connected to the GPIOs of the host, e.g. a Raspberry Pi, as the primary Z-Wave controller. It can then be used with any automation software, provided it supports the Z-Wave Serial Bridge API.
