This enclosure from Delock enables the installation of an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in2280, 2260 and 2242 format. It is connected directly to the PS5with the two USB type-A connectors. The robust metal housing with ventilation slots onthe sides ensures an optimal temperature of the memory.

Additional USB type-A port
This port is directly forwarded from the PlayStation® . Thus, the USB Type-A socket on the enclosure can still be used to connect further USB devices orto charge the controller of the game console.

USB extension cable
The enclosed extension cable can be used to connectthe enclosure to a PlayStation®4 andthus copy games to the M.2 SSD and then use it on the PS5.
The cable can also be used to connect the enclosure to a PC or notebook.

SSD installation without tools
The special feature of this enclosure is that no tools are required toinstall the M.2 SSD. The cover can be pushed back with a little pressure, the SSD is attached to the board with a rubber nipple and then the cover is pushed back on until it clicks into place.

Note
SATA M.2 SSDs are not supported.
