This sturdy metal removable frame by Delock can be installed in a free 3.5″ bay of a PC and guarantees 360° vibration protection against horizontal and vertical shocks thanks to the built-in rubber dampers. A 2.5″ SATA or SAS hard drive can be screwed into the frame. A SAS controller is required to connect a SAS hard drive. The removable frame has a key lock so that only authorised persons can remove the hard drive. The hot swap function allows the hard drive to be changed during operation. Furthermore, the SATA connector has a locking port on the outside of the device, which ensures that the connected SATA cable locks into place and is protected against shocks. The removable frame can be used wherever the PC is exposed to vibrations. Article 47229 from Delock is available as an additional slot for quick hard drive replacement.
