This sturdy metal removable frame by Delock can be installed in a free 3.5″ bay of a PC.
U.2 SFF-8639 interface also suitable for SATA and SAS
A 2.5″ U.2 SSD can be installed in the slot and slid into the removable frame.
In addition, a SATA or SAS HDD or SSD can be installed. Depending on which storage type is installed, the corresponding cable must be connected to the rear and connected to the system. This is possible because the SFF-8639 port allows a SAS 29-pin or SATA cable to be connected. The hot swap function allows the hard drive to be changed during operation.
The removable frame has a key lock to ensure that only authorised persons can remove the hard drive.
