Up to two M.2 SSDs in 2280, 2260, 2242 or 2230 format can be connected to this converter by Delock and used as a replacement for a 2.5″ hard drive. The converter can be integrated into the system internally via the SATA 22-pin interface. When using more than one SSD, it is possible to use different RAID levels.

Note
This article supports a chipset-based RAID function. The management and setting of the RAID mode is not possible via the operating system or BIOS. Various diagnostic software is not compatible with this solution.
The SMART function is not supported. JBOD is only supported on SATA controllers with port multiplier function.
