This USB 40 Gbps “full featured” cable by Delock enables the connection of various devices, such as smartphones, monitors, external housings and docking stations, via a USB Type-C™, Thunderbolt™ 3 or Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C™ port of a PC or notebook. A suitable PD power supply unit with a USB Type-C™ socket can be used for the charging function only. Support for the Extended Power Range or the USB Power Delivery 3.1 standard means that connected devices can be supplied with power, up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A) are possible. The cable supports the transmission of USB as well as DisplayPort and PCI Express data.

Display
A special feature of this cable is the power display, which shows the current charging power in watts as well as the current in amps and voltage in volts. The power on the display is shown with three digits.

Connect USB-C™ 8K monitors
The Delock cable supports DisplayPort 2.0 Alternate Mode and thus enables the connection of corresponding USB-C™ monitors with a screen resolution of up to 8K 60 Hz.

Quality and performance
The cable is very hard-wearing and durable due to its robust textile sheathing and strong strain relief. The high wire cross-section of the power cable of 21 AWG also supports a stable power supply of up to 5 A.
