USB 3.0 power supply:
each device receives a maximum of 900 mA (in USB 2.0 max. 500 mA). This increase means that it will not be necessary to equip some devices, e.g. USB 3.0 hard drives, with external power supplies or with special USB cables with two plugs that take up as many as two USB ports on the computer to provide sufficient power to the device.
