Keep your Raspberry Pi cool at all times!!!
The Raspberry Pi heat sink set consists of high-quality aluminium heat sinks. The heat sinks are a perfect fit and protect the most important components (ARM CPU and USB controller) from overheating if the Pi is permanently overclocked. The thermally conductive adhesive tape enclosed with the heat sinks ensures loss-free heat dissipation from the processor to the heat sink. Heat build-up is virtually impossible.
All 3 heat sinks are only required for theRaspberry Pi Model B Rev. 2. Only 2 heat sinks are used for subsequent Raspberry Pi models (from Pi A+/B+) (1x large for ARM CPU and 1x small for USB controller).
The circuit on the underside of the Raspberry Pi (RAM) must notbe fitted with a heat sink! If necessary or if you wish, please tape ONLY the large SoC circuit and the USB controller chip (directly behind the USB ports)! Take care NOT to touch or cover any other components with the heat sink.
Installation is always at your own risk, as this is an additional, irreversible modification!
It is no longer possible to cancel or return heat sinks that have already been installed.
