High stability of construction
The RPE has a robust welded construction made of 2 mm thick material.

Three separately lockable parts
The RPE distributor has three separately lockable parts. The upper and lower sections are secured with a lock with a Tritón swivelling lever handle, the middle pull-out section is designed for the keyboard and mouse and has a single-point lock. In the standard version, all parts are keyed alike.

Cable entries
Cable entry in the roof and base 300 x 100 mm with sealed cover. All cable entries must be sealed against dust and moisture, which could condense in an air-conditioned room, damage the components or freeze in the air conditioning unit and thus put it out of operation. An additional multiple cable aperture with an increased degree of protection is included with the distributor.

Ceiling panel
The large roof panel enables the installation of an air conditioning unit with air orientation precisely according to the requirements of the installed components. Installing an air conditioning unit reduces the IP protection rating of the entire system to IP20. For more information, see Accessories – Active cooling.

IP54 distributors
The distributors in the RPE range with an increased degree of protection are designed to protect components from the harmful effects of water and dust in particular. The roof perforation is by design only and does not reduce the tightness. The side panels are attached to the frame with screws and, like the doors, are fitted with a foam seal. They have openings for baying enclosures.

Multi-point locking
The rod lock enables the door to be perfectly sealed against the enclosure frame. The system is compatible with handles and locks from leading manufacturers on the world market, including electronic and code locks.

Flexible door opening
A special hinge system allows the door to be opened at an angle of 165°. The doors can be easily dismantled and the door hinge changed.

Glass
The metal doors with glued-in glass are made of 4 mm thick impact-resistant toughened glass. If broken, they shatter into many small splinters like car glass. For safety reasons, we recommend closing the solid glass door after installing components to avoid collision with other objects. The glass used has been tested in a certified test centre and meets the requirements of ČSN EN 12150-1+A: Glass in building – Thermally toughened soda-lime silicate safety glass. The tested glass complies with the standard for disintegration after glass breakage, certificate of conformity CQ-24-2023, test report IKATES 58A- 2024.

Adjustable vertical rails
The vertical 19″ rails are infinitely adjustable in the enclosure depth. This facilitates the installation of components and cable management.

Removable side and rear panels
The RPE has a welded frame and removable side and rear panels. These are attached to the frame with countersunk safety screws.

Castors, levelling feet, plinth
The distribution board can be installed on levelling feet (part of the accessory pack) using the optional equipment for plinths, castors or heavy-duty castors with support frame if necessary.

Earthing
All removable parts are connected to each other and earthed in accordance with the relevant standard requirements.

Use
19″ floor-standing distribution board with IP54 degree of protection.
The distribution board includes 4 adjustable vertical latching rails for installing the components.

Distribution board construction:
– welded steel construction with removable walls,
– single-leaf doors in solid sheet metal or glass door versions with 4 mm thick safety glass, which are only located at the front of the enclosure and have a PUR foam seal and multi-point locking
The maximum permissible load capacity of the individual doors is 20 kg.
The minimum application thickness is 65 μm.
These enclosures are intended for industrial rooms and are suitable for the installation of computers or control elements of technology complexes.
The distribution frame and all removable parts (side and rear panels, doors, …) are connected with earthing cables, which must be properly fastened and plugged in throughout the entire service life of the enclosure.
There is an M8 screw in the base of the distribution board as a central earthing point.
Cable entries with break-out covers are located at the top and bottom.
The recommended maximum static load of the distribution board is 400 kg when using levelling feet or a plinth.

Operating conditions
Operating conditions:
– indoors,
– the distributor is not intended for outdoor use or under conditions that may have a negative impact on its function and that of the installed components (e.g. environments with a risk of explosion or damp and wet rooms).
It must be protected against:
– mechanical damage,
– incorrect handling,
– use other than that intended for the distributor.

Improper handling means in particular:
– overloading (exceeding the recommended maximum load),
– installation of equipment that may adversely affect the operation and functioning of the distributor or the installed components,
– tampering with the distributor structure and its design.
When using the roller set RAX-MS-X81-X1 for direct mounting on the enclosure (the enclosure is 108 mm higher), a maximum static load of 200 kg, including enclosure weight, must be observed.
When using a roller set with support frame RAX-RK-Xxx-X1 (the roller set RAX-MS-X81-X1 is part of the accessory pack), the maximum load capacity is 450 kg including enclosure weight **. The enclosure height increases by 111 mm.
To ensure stability, at least 65 % of the load must be installed in the lower half of the enclosure.
The relevant standards must be observed when moving an equipped enclosure*.

Mounting the distributor
To ensure the recommended maximum load, the load must be evenly distributed between the front and rear verticals.
The distributor must be set up on a level surface; any minor unevenness can be levelled out using the levelling feet.

Environmental protection
All parts are made from recyclable materials. They must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable regulations after the distributor has been decommissioned.

Declaration of conformity
This product fully complies with the ČSN standard EN 62208 ed.2:2012 (EN 62208:2011).

* The load capacity of the castors applies to a speed of up to 4 km/h on a flat and smooth surface at an ambient temperature in the range of 10-30 °C. All dimensions, load capacities and tolerances comply with the following standards: EN 12527-12533, DIN 7845.

** Total weight of the distributor = dead weight of the cabinet + installed accessories + installed technologies. Load capacity of a roller = total weight of the distributor / 3.
