SuperRange Cardbus – Long-Range 802.11a/b/g Mobility Client

Powerful and Versatile

The world’s first hi-power 802.11 a/b/g cardbus card with external antenna connectors. The SuperRange Cardbus allows clients to connect to Wi-Fi networks that would normally be out of range. It also serves as a site survey tool for both the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequency bands.

The SuperRange Cardbus adapter is a hi-performance, hi-power FCC-compliant client solution specifically designed for long distance links normally impossible to achieve with standard a/b/g cards. It features excellent receiver performance, external antenna connectors, advanced mobility functionality, as well as Cisco CCX 4.0 support with the latest 802.11 QoS and Security standards.

Mesh Networking and Mobility Support

In addition to the superior range and radio performance of the SRC, has developed an enhanced application that has been qualified and tested with systems from Skypilot Networks, BelAir Networks, Proxim, Packet Hop and others. The utility contains advanced scanning functionality with credential filtering options and detailed performance feedback reporting. In addition, an advanced mobility application allows network administrators to optimize mobility performance based on a variety of thresholds such as signal level, data rate, and AP credentials.
